Very Brief Blog: International Lung Cancer Genomic Testing Guidelines Updated

This week, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, CAP, and AMP released new guidelines for genomic test in lung cancer.   The 27-page PDF is available open access online.

Highlights include the need for gene panel testing, dealing with small specimens, and recommended use of liquid biopsy where tissue is inadequate or unavailable.  (The latter matches NCCN guidelines, too.)
